ESNotes - February 2009

Pittcon is just around the corner - will you be attending? Let us know and feel free to stop by and visit with us to talk chromatography.

In this pre-Pittcon issue of ESNotes as we approach the 2009 Pittsburgh Conference we would like to share with you some of the new products we will be featuring including information on Chiral Stationary Phases, advances in SFC separation selectivity and capacity and a novel HILIC phases for UHPLC - all designed to be technically superior and practically useful.

In this months ESNotes we will introduce application notes on:
New Chromegabond Carbohydrate Columns, Epic 1.8μm HILIC HPLC columns for use with ultra high pressure liquid chromatographs and Epic Polar XP - A new base deactivated high aqueous compatible ODS stationary phase .

ChromegabondTM Carbohydrate

Chromegabond Carbohydrate is specifically designed for the separation and chromatographic analysis of sugars, sugar alcohols and oligosaccharides.  It is suitable for use with evaporative light scattering detector and LC/MS. Several carbohydrate separations using Chromegabond Carbohydrate are shown More ....

Epic 1.8μm HILIC HPLC Columns

Epic 1.8μm HILIC HPLC columns for use with ultra high pressure liquid chromatographs engineered specifically for HILIC chromatography at pressures up to 15000 psi.

Expertise in the silica surface modification and bonded stationary phase technology has permitted the development of a number of stationary phases based on 1.8μm particle technology. With this breakthrough the chromatographer is not limited to typical HILIC type phases.

The Epic 1.8μm HILIC columns will provide the chromatographer with the highest resolution over a wide variety flow rate conditions and mobile phase compositions. The following Epic HILIC 1.8μm columns are available:

Epic Silica HILIC

Epic Diol HILIC

Epic HILIC-FL - an excellent choice for samples containing polar halogenated, polar amines and polar aromatic compounds

Epic HILIC-PI - an excellent choice for polar amine samples  More ....

Epic Polar XP - new base deactivated HPLC Columns

Epic Polar XP - A new base deactivated high aqueous compatible ODS stationary phase has been specifically designed to deliver high aqueous mobile phase performance with superior peak shape for the most difficult to chromatograph amine compounds. Epic Polar XP is the clear choice for the discriminating HPLC chromatographer faced with a difficult separation challenge such as polar compounds including amines, compounds requiring a highly aqueous mobile phase or difficult to retain compounds.
