In this summer issue of ES Notes we would like to share with you some of the new products we have introduced recently including information on the new GreenSep Nitro SFC stationary phase which has proven superior to conventional stationary phases in the areas of separation selectivity and loading capacity, Epic PFP-LB sub-2 micron Columns for difficult separations and the SonomaTM column and bulk media line is an equivalent to Phenomenex LunaTM. All designed to be technically informative and practically useful.

Epic PFP-LB, 1.8 micron HPLC Columns

TContinued research and development efforts have yielded the new Epic PFP-LB 1.8um column. This development has elevated the Pentafluorophenyl (PFP) HPLC stationary phase to the next level of separation performance and combines the unique separation performance of PFP with the high performance characteristics of sub-2 micron ultra high purity silica and the stability of the specially developed low bleed (LB) technology. All combining to produce enhanced retention for many compounds particularly those that contain polarizable electrons.

GreenSepTM Nitro SFC Columns

GreenSep Nitro SFC stationary phase has proven superior to conventional stationary phases (such as diol, cyano etc...) in the areas of separation selectivity and loading capacity. GreenSep Nitro SFC is specifically designed for the separation of geometrical isomers as well as diastereomers. It is the column of choice in separating compounds that contain an aromatic group, polarizable electrons, halogenated groups and conjugate systems. SonomaTM HPLC Columns

The SonomaTM line is an equivalent to Phenomenex LunaTM. There are several different phases available in the Sonoma line The most popular is the C18(2). ES Industries offers this exact type HPLC column in 3µ and 5µ sizes with bulk and preparative material available. Excellent efficiencies, peak shape and resolution are obtained for virtually all Luna HPLC applications. A range of particle sizes offers amazing versatility for capillary and LC/MS to prep and process scale applications. ES Industries has developed a line of Sonoma stationary phases equivalent to Phenomenex Luna stationary phases. The new Sonoma phases include C18, C8, HILIC, NH2, SCX and PFP.
